Postdoctoral degree in Bioengineering at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology). Visiting senior Professor at Centre de Recherches sur les Macromolécules Végétales (CERMAV) - CNRS. He has teaching-scientific experience in Materials Science, biomedical materials and Biomedical Engineering. It works directly in the development of membranes for applications in the energy sector, biomimetic and bioinspired biomaterials applied to tissue engineering and nanomedicine. It has more than 180 articles indexed in magazines with selective editorial policy, more than 5000 citations and H index = 42. He has been coordinating several projects as Principal Researcher in the main funding bodies in Brazil, such as: FINEP, FAPESP, CNPq, CAPES and SERRAPILHEIRA.
