Holds a degree in Accounting from the School of Economics, Business Administration, and Accounting (FEA-USP, 2014) and in Social Sciences from the School of Philosophy, Languages, and Human Sciences (FFLCH-USP, 2018). During his Social Sciences undergraduate studies, he was a FAPESP Scientific Initiation Fellow, working with the Center for Comparative and International Studies (NECI). He holds a Masters degree in Political Science from FFLCH-USP, funded by CAPES, and is currently a PhD candidate in the same department, supported by FAPESP. As part of his doctoral studies, he completed a one-year research stay at the University of California, Berkeley, through the BEPE-FAPESP program (2024-2025). His research focuses on the relationship between political regimes and tax progressivity. He is also a researcher with the Solidarity Research Network Public Policies and Society, monitoring public policies implemented by different levels of government to address the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil.
