Graduated in Data Processing Systems from the Universidade Potiguar (1991). Knowledge and experience in the creation and development of applications for Digital TV based on standards such as ISDB-T (DTVi) and HBBTV. Was one of the founders of the Brazilian Digital Terrestrial Television System Forum (SBTVDT) and collaborated with the technical group that structured the middleware standard Ginga, the standard for the transmission of interactive applications on SBTVDT.Creator of the first interactive advertising for Brazilian digital TV, with Caixa Econômica as the advertiser (Minha Casa, Minha Vida). Researched and developed other interactive applications broadcast by MTV Brasil, TV Bandeirantes, TV Globo, SBT, TV Record and TV Integração (MG), with whom he won the Best Interactive Application Award granted by the Brazilian Society of Television Engineering (SET) in 2011.Responsible for the development of some of the first Brazilian content applications on connected TVs (smart TVs) from LG, Samsung, Philips and Panasonic, with projects carried out with TV Pinguim (Turma do Peixonauta), Maurício de Sousa Produções (Turma da Mônica), TV Bovespa, TV Climatempo, TV Bandeirantes, Rede Cinepolis, Canais Globosat, TV Canal Rural and Coca-Cola FM among others.Consultant, creator and responsible for the development of the new streaming platforms of Arte1 and Itaú Cultural, channels for the delivery of audiovisual content of art and culture.Knowledge and experience with standards, patterns, processes and methodologies related to software development, in particular those specified by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI), Object Management Group (OMG) and Sociedade Softex (Mps.Br).Was an evaluator of the Dorgival Brandão Software Quality Award (2004-2006), linked to the Brazilian Software Quality and Productivity Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Participated in the BRIPTV project: Development of an IPTV middleware compatible with the ITU-T H.761 standard for the global market with the Technological Integrated Systems Laboratory of POLI/USP (2009). Currently a member of the Deliberative Council of SET (Brazilian Society of Television Engineering), where he coordinates a Technical Group for studies on OTT Video Streaming and Ambassador of Campus Party Brasil, considered one of the largest world events on the internet, software development, robotics, maker culture and digital media.
