He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Paraíba (2010), a Masters in Genetics and Evolutionary Biology from the University of São Paulo (2013) and a PhD in Genetics and Evolutionary Biology from the University of São Paulo (2016). Postdoctoral fellow in Human Genetics in the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology of the University of São Paulo (2017-2018) and is currently postdoctoral fellow in Molecular Genetics by Max-Planck-Institut für molekulare Genetik.
