Chemical Technician, graduated in 2013, from the Technical School of Ribeirão Pires. He continued to pursue a career in chemistry. He entered the Mauá College of Technology in the Polymer Technology Course. He did Scientific Initiation at the Mauá College of Technology, under the guidance of Professor Rondes Ferreira da Silva Torin. He was a CNPQ Technical Support for Research Scholarship - Intermediate Level, whose project focused on the area of Materials Engineering, supervised by Professor Derval dos Santos Rosa, a CNPQ Productivity Scholar, and an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of ABC. He also completed his Master's degree at the Federal University of ABC, in the Postgraduate course in Nanosciences and Advanced Materials, supervised by Professor Derval dos Santos Rosa. He held a Fapesp scholarship (Process 2017/25039-8) for a regular Master's degree in the country, with an emphasis on the study of cellulose nanostructure isolation and surface modification. He also completed his doctorate at the Federal University of ABC, in the Postgraduate course in Nanosciences and Advanced Materials, supervised by Professor Derval dos Santos Rosa, in which he received funding from Fapesp (Process 2019/16301-6), focusing on the preparation of biodegradable porous materials for remediation of environments contaminated with metal ions. He is currently investigating polymeric membranes with adsorbent nanoparticles for the decontamination and environmental remediation of water contaminated by metal ions, in collaboration with the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at Unicamp, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lucia Mei. Currently, he is conducting a research internship abroad (BEPE FAPESP) at Tuskegee University (AL, USA), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Vijaya Kumar Rangari, focusing on the modification of nanoparticles with plasma and the preparation of adsorptive membranes for capturing metal ions from contaminated water. He has experience in the areas of biodegradable polymers, polysaccharides, natural fibers, nanocellulose, nanoclay, polymeric composites and nanocomposites, porous materials, environmental remediation, scanning electron microscopy, and packaging. He is currently working in the area of #8203;#8203;functionalized polymeric materials, biodegradable polymers, porous materials, and environmental remediation. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
