Graduated in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (2005), master's degree in Physical Chemistry (DQ-UFPR) and PhD in Inorganic Chemistry (DQ-UFPR) with sandwich period at The University of Texas at Austin - United States under supervision of Prof. Rodney Ruoff. He received an honorable mention in the Capes Thesis Award in 2015. Did a Post-Doc in the Materials Chemistry Group - UFPR in the area of carbon-derived nanomaterials with an emphasis on transparent conductive electrodes and sensors, under the supervision of Prof. Aldo Zarbin. Since 2014 he is a professor and member of the Advanced Research Center for Graphene, Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology - MackGrafe located at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on electrochemistry, inorganic chemistry and materials chemistry. Its main themes of interest have been: (i) synthesis of graphene and its derivatives; (ii) graphene thin films; (iii) conductive polymers; (iv) pure or mixed transition metal oxides; (v) nanocomposites based on graphene and its derivatives; (vi) two-dimensional nanomaterials, (vii) supercapacitors, (viii) new generation batteries.
