Felipe de Souza Miranda

I am a researcher with a Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), specializing in Materials, Manufacturing, and Automation (CAPES Concept 6). Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself extensively to Plasma Engineering, focusing not only on material processing, deposition, and characterization using thermal plasma for applications in the aeronautical and aerospace sectors but also on developing and utilizing thermal plasma systems for treating and processing industrial, medical, and urban waste, with the aim of promoting energy co-generation and minimizing environmental and social impacts. Additionally, I am involved in cold plasma technology for biomedical applications, particularly in the production and utilization of plasma-activated liquids. My academic and professional portfolio includes patents registered both nationally and internationally, along with numerous articles published in indexed journals, consolidating my standing in the academic and research communities. As a result, I have been recognized as a productive researcher in technological development and innovation by CNPq. Currently, I am affiliated with the Laboratory of Plasmas and Processes at ITA and the Genoma Laboratory-UNESP/SJC. In addition to my Ph.D., I hold a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from Universidade do Vale do Paraíba, specializing in Materials Processing and Catalysis. My education in Aeronautical Engineering was completed at Universidade Paulista, and I began my academic career through the Scientific Initiation program at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) between 2008 and 2009.
