Currently holds an Assistant Professor, PhD at the State University of São Paulo (UNESP-CLP) in Plant Physiology. In 2014 held a post-doc position at the Federal University of Ceará, in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, researching on photosynthetic efficiency, photoprotective mechanisms and the regulation of electron transport in response to abiotic stresses. In 2013 held a postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Life Science, University of Manchester (England), under the supervision of Dr. Giles Johnson, researching on biophysics and regulation of the photosynthetic electron transport. PhD. in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Ceará (2012), Master's degree in Botany, with emphasis in Plant Physiology from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (2008) and a Bach. degree in Biological Sciences Bach. (2008) and Lic. (2005) by the Federal University of Paraíba. I am interested in Biochemistry and Plant Physiology with emphasis on Photosynthetic Metabolism acting on the following themes: photochemistry, photoinhibition, photoprotective mechanisms of photosynthesis biochemistry and abiotic stresses (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
