Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC). Centro de Engenharia, Modelagem e Ciências Sociais Aplicadas (CECS)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor in Chemistry with technological attributions (2007) and PhD in Energy from the Center for Engineering, Modeling and Applied Social Sciences at the Federal University of ABC (2013), Santo André, SP, Brazil. During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of Materials, Environment and Energy at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina, 2009) and at the Center for Nanoporous Materials, University of Manchester (United Kingdom, 2012). I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry (2015) and at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Polytechnical School (2019) both at the University of São Paulo. During 2019-2021 I worked as a researcher at the Center for Innovation on New Energies (CINE), funded by Shell-FAPESP cooperation in the division 3-Methane to Products. Currently, I am a researcher in the Human Resources Program at the National Agency of Petroleum to develop new sustainable routes for methane conversion and a visiting professor at the Federal University of ABC. I teach subjects such as petroleum chemistry, and hydrogen and fuel cells.I have experience in the areas of materials chemistry and renewable energy. Specifically, I have been working on the design and characterization of nanomaterials composed of mesoporous silica and metal oxide nanoparticles with controlled composition, size and shape for methane conversion into value-added products. Additionally, I have been working on advanced characterization with synchrotron light at LNLS-Sirius and Brookhaven National Laboratory (NY, USA), such as in-situ techniques using XAS and PDF, to elucidate and understand the correlations between composition, structure and catalytic performance.
