Bachelor of Biomedicine from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), awarded with honors for academic performance. During undergraduate studies, was a CNPq scholarship recipient for scientific initiation (5 projects), working in the fields of immunogenetics, population genetics, and medical genetics, with a focus on Intellectual Disability and Fragile X Syndrome. Received the Best Scientific and Technological Initiation Award (Health area) - 2016 from UFPA. Co-founder, vice-president, and professor at the Genetics League of UFPA - LAGEN, working on teaching projects for undergraduate students (2014-2016). President of the Biomedicine Academic Center, 2015-2016. Holds a Master's degree in Sciences from the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology at the Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo (USP), 2017-2020, working in the field of developmental genetics. Currently a Ph.D. student at the Israelite Institute of Teaching and Research at Albert Einstein Hospital, conducting research on rare genetic variants in oligogenic inheritance models of Autism Spectrum Disorders, in partnership with The Centre for Applied Genomics, Genetics and Genome Biology, The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. Has experience in the areas of neuroscience, neurodevelopment, embryology, and molecular medicine, using molecular, cellular, and bioinformatics tools to investigate genes of interest for developmental genetics. Simultaneously, serves as a guest lecturer in the Cells and Genes discipline in the Medicine course at Albert Einstein School of Health Sciences, with expertise in active teaching methodologies such as Team-Based Learning (TBL). Works as a professor and is responsible for the module on molecular bases of cancer in the Postgraduate Program in Multiprofessional Oncology at Albert Einstein Hospital; Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Molecular Biology at IPESSP.
