Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences by Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP) with qualification in Human and Medical Genetics. Has developed her project of Scientific Initiation, with FAPESP scholarship, in the area of #8203;#8203;central nervous system tumors by the Genetics Laboratory of the Pediatric Oncology Institute-GRAACC/UNIFESP. Had her Master Degree in Cancer Genetics by the Postgraduate Program in Structural and Functional Biology at UNIFESP and developed her research project investigating genetic alterations in childhood and adolescence ependymomas and gliomas using the next-generation sequencing strategy. Currently, is a PhD student at the Genetics Laboratory - Biosciences Institute of the University of São Paulo (IB-USP). Is developing her research project at the Human Genome and Stem Cell Research Center, investigating the genetic and pathological aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in patients with Duchenne/Becker muscular dystrophy.
