She is currently a Research Collaborating Doctor at the Federal University of ABC in the Laboratory of Neurogenetics under the supervision of Dr. Alexandre Hiroaki Kihara with projects aimed at elucidating the role of epigenetics, inflammation and apoptosis in neural development and spinal cord injury with in vitro and in vitro molecular approaches.
