has completed high school at the state school Maria Luiza Ferreira Zambello (2013) and a degree in Biological Sciences (Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Botucatu campus). He is currently a bachelor's student in the same area. Scientific Initiation Scholarship (FAPESP) in the Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences of the Institute of Biosciences of Botucatu / IBB (UNESP). In his projects as a student of scientific initiation he worked in the area of molecular biology of microorganisms with an emphasis on expression and purification of recombinant proteins and biophysical investigation of the interaction processes between nuclei and proteins. In his most recent project, he uses the CRISPR / CAS9 genomic editing tool in order to generate L. braziliensis knockout (KO) strains for the IP6K and TERT genes.
