Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas (ICB)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo in 2020. During her scientific initiation, carried out between 2018 and 2020, she had the opportunity to work with Dr. Ethel Bayer Santos at the Laboratory of Protein Structure and Evolution at the Biomedical Sciences Institute (ICB-USP), where she contributed to the characterization of a new family of toxins secreted by Salmonella Typhimurium through the type VI secretion system (T6SS), which is used in bacterial competitions. Currently, as a Ph.D. student with a FAPESP scholarship at the same institute, she uses molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics techniques to study different effectors secreted via T6SS in Salmonella spp. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
