Birthplace: Brazil

B.Sc. in Biological Sciences and M.Sc. in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Also holds an MBA in Data Science Analytics from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP). During his undergraduate studies, he conducted a research project funded by FAPESP, investigating the expression patterns of Odorant-Binding Proteins across different phases of the circadian cycle in two fruit fly species of the genus Anastrepha. During his master's degree, he performed molecular and expression analyses of the PAR domain protein 1 and takeout genes in Anastrepha fraterculus males. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in the Graduate Program in Entomology at the School of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP-USP), where he investigates the molecular bases of defensive behavior in stingless bees (Hymenoptera: Apidae: Meliponini).
