Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense (UENF RJ, Brazil), with expertise in experimentation under BSL-2 and BSL-3 conditions. PhD in Sciences (Immunology) from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (SP, Brazil), focusing on pulmonary immune responses. Currently a Senior Research Fellow (Postdoctoral Research Fellow) in the Department of Immunology at Mayo Clinic Arizona (USA), where I investigate pulmonary immunology, with emphasis on CD4#8314; T-cell biology in the context of respiratory infections (influenza, tuberculosis), allergic inflammation (asthma), and lung cancer. My work integrates advanced experimental models and immune-mapping approaches to understand how immune mechanisms regulate lung health and disease. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
