Graduated in Chemistry, Master, and Doctorate in Agrochemistry from the Federal University of Lavras, a doctoral internship at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Post-Doctorate at the Institute of Science and Technology of UNESP-Sorocaba. He has experience in Environmental Chemistry, Material Science and Macromolecules, developing advanced hybrid systems containing cyclodextrins for application in agriculture, aquaculture and contaminant removal, which have earned him articles, patent applications, and awards. He was awarded 1st place in the Prêmio Furnas Ouro Azul, 2nd place in the Prêmio Agroambiental Monsanto and 3rd place in the Prêmio Novos Talentos/Agricultura Sustentável. He is currently working with a fluorescent probe labeled nanopesticides to study the mechanism of action and toxicity to assess the potential impacts of these nanoparticles on the environment.
