Aidan graduated in Social Sciences, focusing on Anthropology theory and practice, at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). They are a member of the Laboratório de Antropologia da Religião (Anthropology of Religion Lab, LAR). They are part of the ?Espiritualidade Institucionalizada? project, which investigates public policies, clinical uses and medical research on the legitimation of spirituality as a health factor in Brazil, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Toniol. Currently, they are a master's student in Social Anthropology at UNICAMP, researching on transgender health care practices in Brazil, a project called ?The Making of Health: relations between medical anthropology theory, clinical practice guidelines and public policies on transgender health? under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Toniol.
