Marco Antonio Ridenti

Bachelors degree (2008) and Masters degree (2010) in Physics from the Institute of Physics at USP, and PhD (2014) in Sciences from the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics at UNICAMP, with a research exchange period at the Instituto Superior Técnico of Lisbon (IST-Lisbon), Portugal. Conducts research with both experimental and theoretical approaches in the field of plasma physics, with applications in plasma chemistry, gaseous detectors, and space plasmas. Also engages in research in computational fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, simulation of molecular spectra of reactive mixtures (plasma, combustion), space mission science with CubeSats, and mathematical epidemiology.
