Raphael Oliveira is a PhD student in Astronomy (2019-), at Universidade de São Paulo (IAG-USP), where he also got his Master's degree (03/2017-02/2019). He got his bachelor degree in Physics, with emphasis in Astrophysics, by Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2013-2016). His ongoing research, advisored by Profa. Dra. Beatriz Barbuy and co-advisored by Prof. Dr. Francisco, involves the photometric and spectroscopic analysis of stellar clusters in the Magellanic Bridge, with observations and data reduction from large telescopes. The masters involved statistical isochrone fitting and multiple stellar populations analysis in Galactic bulge clusters, with photometry from the Hubble Space Telescope. During his undergrad studies, he took part in a 1.5-year undergrad research (INCT-A/CNPq) advisored by Prof. Dr. Eduardo Bica, discipline monitoring and science outreach at the UFRGS Planetary. Effective associate of the Brazilian Astronomical Society (SAB) and member of the VISCACHA project (Magellanic Clouds with the SOAR telescope). The stellar clusters in the Magellanic System are very important for the determination of the star formation history and chemodynamical evolution of these two satellite galaxies. The analysis of their ages and chemical signatures is crucial to distinguish which is the correct model to explain the origin and evolution of the Magellanic Clouds-Milky Way system.
