CV Lattes ORCID

Birthplace: Equador

Mechanical Engineer from Escuela Politécnica Nacional (Ecuador/2011), Master (2014), and Doctor (2018) in Mechanical Engineering from UNICAMP. He develops his research work in Materials and Manufacturing Processes, specifically with additive manufacturing (3D printing) of polymeric materials, hydrogels, biomaterials, composite materials, inks, and bioinks. In addition, he has experience in hardware and software development for open-source projects for desktop 3D printers and g-code programming through geometry parameterization. Moreover, he has experience in different materials characterization techniques, being his main differential the rheological characterization of materials for 3D printing based on material extrusion. He held a postdoctoral degree in hybrid manufacturing at the 3D Printing Open Laboratory (LAprint) of the Center for Information Technology Renato Archer (CTI), with research work in the project: Study, development, and application of a hybrid process: Additive Manufacturing (MA) + High-Speed Machining/Grinding.
