He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at State University of Maringa, Brazil. He is part of the Hydraulics and Sanitation Engineering graduate program at the University of Sao Paulo - School of Engineering of Sao Carlos. Inside the program, he is also part of the Adaptative Design and Innovation lab (WADI-LAB), managed by professor Eduardo Mario Mendiondo. Marcus has experience in Civil Engineering with emphasis on the development of applications on VBA and spreadsheets for hydrology, hydraulic and reinforced concrete structures problems. He has his scholarship funded by FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo - process 2018/20865-0 ). His master thesis is related to the modeling-experimental approach of hydrologic-hydraulic parameters assessment of a prototype and real scaled Bioretention designed system with the goal to understanding of key-parameters influences on the facility's design to improve future resilience to the increasing impacts provided due to the climate change scenarios and future land uses.
