I graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from FCF-USP in 2015. During this period I did scientific initiation at the laboratory of Mitochondria and Cell Viability, under the guidance of the professor Dr. Fernanda Marques da Cunha with the project entitled "Caloric Restriction in Saccharomyces cerevisae: Effect of pH". In 2011, I participated in the Scientific Conference of FCF-USP in Córrego Fundo, MG; where we carried out awareness of the local population about parasites and how to avoid them, and collection of material (blood, feces, anal swaab) for further examination of parasitoses. In 2013, I did 1 year of an undergraduate program in the United States, in Public Health, at the College of Charleston, SC, in the CAPES-funded: Sciences Without Borders Program. During 6-months I conducted a research project at the Department of Chemistry entitled "Role of conserved amino acid residues in heme A synthase" that was presented in Atlanta during the SERMACS congress in November 2013. Later, I worked as a pharmacovigilance analyst at Hypermarcas SA from January 2014 until January 2016. In April 2016, I joined Quintiles as Clinical Trials Assistant, until April 2018. During my professional career I developed interest in the epidemiology of neglected diseases and their correlations with Public Health in Brazil and in the world. Currently, I joined the PhD program in jJune 2018 at the Department of Parasitology - ICB / USP and my PhD project is entitled "Molecular Epidemiology of Malaria in the Juruá Valley".
