Daniel Ferraz concluded postdoctoral research at the KU LEUVEN and another post doctorate at the University of São Paulo. He has a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of São Paulo and this research focused on English language education and new technologies . Part of the doctoral research was carried out at the University of Manitoba - Canada through the PhD sandwich program by CAPES. He has a Masters degree in the area of Visual Literacy and English language education from the University of São Paulo and graduated in Languages from the Catholic University of São Paulo - PUCSP . Currently , he does research in the areas of new literacies , new technologies and critical and visual litaracies and has published articles and book chapters in the areas mentioned. He has experience in the area of Arts with an emphasis in Modern Foreign Languages , acting on the following themes : teacher education , English language education, new literacies , visual literacy , critical literacy , language and culture . He is a professor at the University of São Paulo and at the English Language and Literature Graduate Program (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
