Formation: Civil Engineer from the University of the Amazon (2004); Master's in Urban Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2007); Ph.D. in Production Engineering with a focus on Operations Research from COPPE/UFRJ (2014). He was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Sustainable Management Systems Program at UFF (2014-2015); in the Production Engineering Program at COPPE/UFRJ (2015-2016); and in the Institute of Waste Management and Circularity, BOKU University, Vienna (2023-2024). Co-editor of the books: Reverse Logistics Process by Process, Atlas Publisher (Valle Souza, 2014); and Circular Economy - A Path to Sustainability (2022). Main topics in academic research: Urban Solid Waste Management, Reverse Logistics, Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, and Operations Research applied to Sustainability.
