I am now pusuing a postdoctoral position at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), under the international project "Balancing biOdiversity coNservation and Development in Amazon wetlandS - BONDS". During the last decade, I have been working in the Amazon, where I did field work in different river basins and conducted both biological surveys and interviews with local people. My main research interest is the study of natural resources management, aimed at finding alternatives to reconcile biodiversity conservation with human well-being. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
