Rita has a bachelor degree in Mathematics and in Teaching Mathematcs from Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (2005/2006), and a masters degree in Teaching Science and Mathematics from Universidade Federal de São Carlos - UFSCar (2010). She also has a PhD in Education (2019) from the University of Nottingham - UK. She was a post doctorate researcher with finantial aid from FAPEST, at IMECC/Unicamp and her research was about evasion at teacher training courses. She has been working in Education for more than 10 years, focusing on mathematics education, teacher training, e-learning and designing materials.
