Luís Felipe Galvão Valdivia

Graduated in Biomedicine from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC, Mogi das Cruzes, SP) in 2020. He has approximately 4 years of experience at the Laboratory of Adipose Tissue Biology (LaBiTA), belonging to the Integrated Center of Biotechnology (NIB) of the University of Mogi das Cruzes, under the guidance of Prof. Miguel Luiz Batista Júnior, PhD. During this period, he developed two Scientific Initiation projects in the area of #8203;#8203;Physiology of Organs and Systems and Molecular Biology, being a FAPESP scholarship holder in one of these projects. He has experience with genotyping, PCR, Western-Blot, histology, immunohistochemistry and cell culture techniques. He completed his PhD directly (FAPESP scholarship) under the guidance of Prof. Patrícia Reckziegel, PhD, in the Postgraduate Program in Pharmacology of the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp), Paulista School of Medicine (EPM). During this period, he gained experience with peptidomics techniques and mitochondrial respiration tests in brown adipose tissue. He worked mainly on the following topics: adipose tissue, obesity, energy metabolism, intracellular peptides, molecular biology and physiology. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
