Dr. Guilherme V Fortunato has experience in electrochemistry and material science. He obtained his PhD in Chemistry from UFMS under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Gilberto Maia. Completed a sandwich programme at the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH (2017/2018 - funded by CAPES), supervised by Prof. Dr. Karl Mayrhofer and co-supervised by Dr. Marc Ledendecker. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher funded by FAPESP at the Group of Electrochemical and Environmental Processes (GPEA)/IQSC/USP, focusing on the development and application of nanomaterials as electrocatalysts for hydrogen peroxide production. Currently, Dr. Fortunato holds the position of Senior Scientist at the Technical University of Munich, Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability, with a primary research focus on the development of electrocatalytic materials for oxygen-related reactions."
