Daniel Magalhães de Oliveira

Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on Materials, from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (FEG-Unesp), completed in 2023 and 2018, respectively. Part of the doctoral research was conducted at Université Laval in Quebec, Canada (2022). Holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Production Engineering from the Faculty of Technology at the Rio de Janeiro State University (FAT-UERJ), obtained in 2015. Currently serves as an Assistant Professor at FAT-UERJ and a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Science and Technology of Materials (PPG-CTM) at the Polytechnic Institute (IPRJ-UERJ), in the Department of Materials. Has solid experience in Mechanical and Materials Engineering, with a focus on research and development of sustainable composites, working on topics such as plastic waste recycling, development of filaments for additive manufacturing (3D printing), processing and characterization of polymer composites reinforced with lignocellulosic fibers, and thermal analysis. In the industrial sector, worked at MAN Latin America Volkswagen Trucks and Buses, in the areas of Quality and Painting Processes, with an emphasis on Production Engineering, Quality Control, and Industrial Painting.
