Master's degree (2018) and Ph.D. (2023) in Microbiology from the Graduate Program in Pharmacy (Pathophysiology and Toxicology) Area of Clinical Analysis at the University of São Paulo - USP. Holds expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, and genomics, focusing on virulence, bacterial biofilms, infectious disease epidemiology, resistance, and genetic mobilization in high-priority and critical bacteria within the One Health context. Utilizes both phenotypic and molecular techniques, encompassing antibiograms, bacterial biofilms, in vivo assays using Galleria mellonella, PCR, Illumina sequencing (library preparation and sequencing), and bioinformatic data analysis (short-reads). Part of the One Health Brazilian Resistance OneBR team (http://onehealthbr.com/), the first integrated genomic database for surveillance, diagnosis, and management of antimicrobial resistance at the human-animal-environment interface in Latin America.
