A PhD student in inorganic chemistry at the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry (University of São Paulo), with a project funded by São Paulo State Research Foundation, FAPESP (n 2024/17334-3), Leandro is currently carrying out research into glassy metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), with a focus on the synthesis and spectroscopic characterization (mainly NMR, EPR and photoluminescence) of glassy MOFs containing lanthanide ions for photonic applications, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Danilo Manzani and co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Marcos Oliveira Junior. Leandro developed projects related to the synthesis and characterization of fluoride-phosphate glasses doped with lanthanide ions, exploring the modifying role of alkaline earth metals, between 2018 and 2024, having been funded by USP (Unified Scholarship Program) between 2018 and 2019 and by FAPESP between 2019 and 2024 (between scientific initiation and master's degree projects).
