Graduated in Biological Sciences (Bachelor and Licentiate) from the University of São Paulo (2004) and Master's degree from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (USP), in the area of #8203;#8203;concentration of genetics, doctorate and post doctorate from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School ( USP), in the area of #8203;#8203;concentration of clinical medicine, molecular virology. Has experience in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Virology, Immunology. He works as a molecular biology laboratory technician, specifically molecular virology. During the Doctorate, he worked with immunological factors of the disease caused by Chikungunya, as well as in making vaccine candidates and new diagnostic tests. During the Post Doctorate, in addition to developing a vaccine candidate by reverse genetics for Chikungunya, he evaluated parameters related to the infection of immature particles of this virus. As a technician, he worked with diseases caused by arboviruses (Zika, Dengue, Chikungunya, Mayaro and Yellow Fever), Tuberculosis, HIV and herpes viruses (HSV1 and 2 and HHV8). Recently, he worked in the molecular and serological identification of SARS-Cov-2, in addition to viral neutralization tests, evaluation of antiviral drugs and sterilization of materials by ultraviolet light for this pathogen.
