J.L.M Viana has a degree in Industrial Chemistry (2016) and a master?s degree in Analytical Chemistry (2019) from Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA - Brazil), and now is a PhD Student in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) at University of Campinas (UNICAMP ? Brazil). He is member of the Environmental Chemistry Group (GQA ? UNICAMP). Has experience on the analysis of organic micropollutants in environmental matrices (i.e. seawater, river water, sediments and biota) by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC; UHPLC) coupled to mass spectrometry (MS; QqLIT-MS/MS). Currently works on Arsenic speciation in Pantanal wetlands (Brazil) using passive samplers for inorganic species (DGT). Interests: arsenic, metal/metalloid speciation in environmental matrices, antifouling biocides, environmental pollution.
