Graduate in Geography from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Scholarship holder from FAPESP (Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo), with a project in the area of Geochronology of Alluvial Fans and surface coverage of low river and marine terraces. He was also a scientific initiation fellow by FAPESP for two years with a project entitled: "Dynamics of the fluvial channel related to the formation of low river terraces, in the middle course of the Rio Grande, western Bahia, associating it with Holocene climatic pulsations."
