Forest Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) in 2017. She was a fellow of the Science without Borders Program in Ireland at Waterford Institute of Technology by CAPES (2014-2015) and an intern at the Municipal Secretariat of Environment - SEMMAM in Feira de Santana - Bahia, where she worked in the environmental licensing department (2015). She was a member of the project "Implementation of the Reference Center for Forest Restoration of the Atlantic Forest" as a scientific initiation scholarship by FAPESB. She holds a master's degree in Remote Sensing from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) where she developed mapping and monitoring methods for native vegetation from the Brazilian Northeast. Has experience in GIS, applications of the Linear Spectral Mixing Model, species phenology, Caatinga, deforestation and forest degradation in the Amazon, and also time series analysis. She was a student member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) (2018-2019). She has been a member of ESWN - Earth Science Women's Network - since 2019.
