Graduated in Bachelor of Biological Sciences at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2021. My first scientific initiation with a CNPq-PIBIC scholarship (2018-2019) was at the Laboratory of Evolutionary Ecology and Plant Genomics (DBV-IB-UNICAMP) with professor Dr. Fabio Pinheiro, working with the reproductive isolation of plant populations. My second initiation was with a FAPESP (2020-2021) scholarship at the Laboratory of Evolutionary Genomics (DGEMI-IB-UNICAMP) with professor Dr. Mariana Nery, working with the molecular evolution of genes of the antioxidant system of aquatic mammals. I am currently doing a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology with an emphasis on Animal Genetics and Evolution by the same group of my second initiation. My objective is to understanding how the organizational patterns of the genome and gene expression were affected by the evolution of aquatic mammals' groups, focusing in the antioxidant enzyme system. My main interests are in molecular evolution, genetics and genomics, gene expression and aquatic mammals in general. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
