Graduating in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. During his graduation he helped in the development of research projects in the area of photochemistry and photophysics of natural plant pigment analogues (anthocyanins and pyrane-anthocyanins) under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Frank Herbert Quina. This monitoring promoted gain of experience with basic techniques of absorption and spectroscopic emission of organic molecules in solution or adsorbed in solids (clays). Currently, it is responsible for synthesizing optimized composites of SiO2/TiO2 with 30% weight in titanium, besides testing its kinetic performance in operational conditions of complete irradiation of composites. With these syntheses, it aims to generate experimental data for the parameterization of the photoreactor with the oxidation of 5 different organic pollutants and thus obtain better conditions in the treatment of air currents contaminated by advanced oxidative processes in fluidized bed reactors.
