Daniel is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology, University of São Paulo (USP). Previously, he was CAPES/Pró-Defesa researcher at the Brazilian Naval War College (EGN). In 2019, Daniel received his PhD from the Department of War Studies, King's College London (KCL). Before joining KCL?s post-graduate programme in 2014, Daniel was a Konrad Adenauer Fellow in European Studies at Getulio Vargas Foundation?s School of Social Sciences (CPDOC/FGV) in Rio de Janeiro.
