Matheus Mazzilli Pereira

Professor at the Department of Sociology of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Doctor of Sociology from the same institution, with interchange period at the University of California, Irvine. Member of the Research Group Associations, Contestation, and Engagement (GPACE). Has research experience in political sociology with subjects such as political participation, public policy, and social movements, and extension experience with Sociology for basic education, especially, with the development of textbooks.
