During her graduation in Biomedicine (IBMR), worked in the areas of Molecular Biology, Virology, DNA Sequencing, Sequence Alignment, SNPs Identification and Phylogeny. In 2016, obtained a Master Degree in Computational and Systems Biology (IOC / FIOCRUZ) applying the Metagenomics approach to identify infectious agents in samples of fatal cases of unknown etiologies. In 2020, obtained a PhD in Computational and Systems Biology (IOC / FIOCRUZ) and for her thesis, generated, analyzed and compared Metagenomes from the Gut Microbiome of different human groups. In this project, Taxonomic and Functional Analyses, searches for resistance genes (antibiotics and metals) and virulence factors were carried out, in addition, recovered Genomes, Plasmids and Bacteriophages from the metagenomes. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste, where conducts a comparative study on the ruminal and fecal microbiome of Nellore bulls that received different dietary treatments.
