Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at São Paulo State University (2008). Master and PhD in Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Epidemiology at São Paulo State University (2011/ 2014). During the Master's Degree, he investigated the occurrence of bovine leptospirosis in the State of Maranhão. This was the first study to obtain results of zoonosis prevalence from stratified and simple random sampling of the entire state. During his PhD studies, he investigated the occurrence of infection by genus Leptospira in human, domestic and wild animal populations in rural areas, in ten Brazilian biomes. The results of this study were the first to verify and describe the interspecific transmission of the zoonotic agent in several localities of the country. He was Professor Assistant of the disciplines of Epidemiology, Zoonoses, Infectious Diseases, Hygiene and Environmental Sanitation, Introduction to Veterinary Medicine, Environmental Safeguard and Ecology of Wildlife Diseases at São Paulo State University (2009 - 2014). He was Professor of the Professorship of Epidemiology, Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Methodology of the Scientific Work and Monograph of Bragança Paulista Municipal College (2013 - 2016). He is a writer of books and newspaper columnists. He works in the areas of Epidemiology, Preventive Medicine, Rural and Environmental Sanitation and Public Health. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
