Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Zootecnia e Engenharia de Alimentos (FZEA)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (Licentiate/Bachelor). Master's and Ph.D. obtained from the Materials Physics and Chemistry Program (FQMat) at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (UFSJ). Specialization in ceramic materials and clinker-free cement. Experience in the production and characterization of geopolymer cements based on fly ash, blast furnace slag, mining waste and ceramic production waste. Completed post-doctoral research in the Mechanical Engineering Program (PPMEc) at UFSJ and post-doctoral research in Civil Engineering at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET), focusing on microstructural analyses and their correlations with mechanical strengths and physical properties of alkali-activated materials. Currently a researcher at the Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering (FZEA) of the University of São Paulo (USP), working within the Department of Biosystems Engineering. Research focuses on the durability of cementitious composites reinforced with lignocellulosic fibers using MgO and MgSO4 matrices. Conducted part of the research at the NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT-NOVA) and the Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability (CERIS), investigating accelerated aging processes of magnesian matrix fibercements. Worked as a visiting researcher at the Manchester CREATES research group (Concrete Materials, Resource Efficiency, and Advanced Technology for Sustainability), studying the carbonation kinetics of MgO-based cement and microstructural changes in inorganic binders. The researcher is a member of the Research Nucleus on Materials for Biosystems (BioSMat) and collaborates with the Department of Aerospace and Civil Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manchester.
