Bachelor and Licensed in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Uberlândia; Master and PhD in Entomology at the University of São Paulo. My main field of research (where most of my scientific production is centered) is Odonata Systematics, studied by integrative perspectives. I also have interest in Behavioral Ecology having Odonata as study models. During my PhD I emphasized diagnosis and identification structures for Odonata females. I am coauthor in scientific papers with several researchers from Europe and South America. I also act as a referee for many scientific journals. I am a founding member of the Latin American Odonatology Society (SOL) and from 2016 to 2020 I was part of the Brazilian Team for Neotropical Odonata species assessment at the IUCN.
