He has a degree in Dentistry from Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1988), a master's degree in Dentistry (Dentistry) from the University of São Paulo (1992) and PHd in Dentistry (Oral Rehabilitation) from the University of São Paulo (1996). He has been a professor at the Department of Dentistry, Endodontics and Dental Materials at Bauru School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo FOB-USP, since 1989. He is currently Full Professor at the Department of Dentistry, Endodontics and Dental Materials at FOB-USP and Permanent Professor by the Dentistry Area (Master and Doctorate) in the Program of Applied Dental Sciences (grade 6 CAPES) of FOB-USP. CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship - Level 2 and presents FAPESP Research Grant (2019 / 06045-2) in progress. Has experience in Dentistry, focusing on Dental Clinic, acting as researcher, advisor and supervisor on the following subjects: dental whitening, composite resins, bioactive materials, polymerization, nanofibers and ceramic systems in clinical and laboratory research (Index H 21).
