Birthplace: Brazil

Postdoctoral researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP-São Carlos), working in the areas of Complex Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics, and Electrochemistry, with a current project on ethanol electro-oxidation. Holds a degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Technology Paraná (UTFPR), as well as a masters and doctorate in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). The doctoral studies included a research period at the University of Montpellier (France), with a thesis on graphene-derived nanocatalysts for pesticide degradation and hydrogen generation, which was awarded the Excellence in Graduate Studies Award by UFPR. Completed postdoctoral research at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University (20202022), where, in partnership with Petrobras, developed nanomaterials for water and wastewater treatment. This work resulted in the patent "Process for Obtaining Reduced Graphene Oxide Membranes," which was awarded the Petrobras Inventor Award in 2024. Subsequently, conducted postdoctoral research at São Paulo State University (UNESP) (20222024), focusing on the development of nanoscale chemical field-effect transistors (ChemFETs) for gas sensors. Has experience in electrochemistry (including quantum processes and impedance spectroscopy) and the development of nanomaterials for applications such as catalysts, water treatment membranes, and sensors.
