Fulbert Kodjovi Julie Gnonlonfoun

I am a graduate in Geography (2012) and Full Degree in Applied Hydrobiology for wetlands (2014) at the Department of Applied Sciences of the University d'Abomey-Calavi (U.A.C) in Benin; West Africa. Graduated in Ecology (2020) at UNESP - Campus de Rio Claro, during graduation, I was a fellow of the Institutional Scholarship Program of Initiation in Technological Development and Innovation (PIBIT/CNPq) in the Laboratory of Ecosystem Dynamics Observatory (Ecodyn), in the Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences (IGCE- UNESP Rio Claro), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Thiago Sanna F. Dr. Thiago Sanna F. Silva, developing experiments able to evaluate new paradigms for monitoring ecosystem dynamics and land cover using remote sensing data. After this period, I worked for three years in the Conservation Biology Laboratory (Labic) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mauro Galetti Rodrigues, from the Ecology Department of the same institution, developing experiments on abiotic factors that interfere with the distribution of the Juçara Palm (Euterpe edulis) in the Atlantic Forest. Currently, I am a Fapesp fellow and a student of the graduate program of Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity where I am developing my Master's project together with the Laboratory of Ecology and Spatial Conservation (LEEC), supervised by Prof. Dr. Milton Cezar Ribeiro, in which we seek to evaluate how the effects of landscape structure influence seed deposition in a Tropical Forest. In addition, I am taking an MBA in Data Science and Analytics at the University of São Paulo (USP) where I am improving my knowledge related to data processing, statistical analysis and knowledge of other techniques within Data Science. These experiences have provided me with theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity, but also in the manipulation of software, geoprocessing tools for aerial images, and statistical analysis.
