Raquel is majored in Chemistry by Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Southeast Minas - Brazil (2015), worked as an undergrad student in the project "Chromatographic profiles of Brazilian honeys: phenolic markers of geographic or floral origin",. Also worked as an undergrad student in Chemistry Teaching program and participated in the federal exchange program "Science without Borders" in 2013-2014 (Hungary). She completed her Master's Degree (2018) and Ph.D. (2023) in Biochemistry at the Medical Faculty of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, working with isolation and characterization strategies for neurotoxic species of -amyloid oligomers using the antibody fragment NUsc1. During her doctorate, she participated in the Sandwich Doctorate Program Abroad by the PrInt-USP initiative in the Laboratory of Prof. Dr. Willian Klein, at Northwestern University (IL-US) and worked on a scientific mission in Argentina, in collaboration with Prof. Diana Alicia Jerusalinsky from the University of Buenos Aires and with the César Milstein Institute of Science and Technology.
