Biologist (2009), Master (2012) and PhD (2017) in Genetics and Molecular Biology at UNICAMP, worked with the development of non-viral vectors for gene and drug delivery, based on recombinant modular proteins, more specifically, dynein light chains that were modified to behave like nanoparticles. Performed a Postdoctoral internship at the Vaccine Development Laboratory of ICB-USP, working with the development of nanonovacines against Zika virus and SARS-CoV-2, using different nanoparticle strategies, more specifically Self Assembling Protein Nanoparticles, Lipid Nanoparticles and Gold Nanoparticles produced by microfluidics. Currently working a researcher at the Nanobiotechnology Laboratory at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (Barcelona - Spain), where she works on the development of secretory nano- and microparticles that act as amyloid mimetics, releasing recombinant proteins in a controlled manner. In her work, such nanomaterials are applied to different experimental models, such as delivery of anti-tumor drugs, vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 and colorectal cancer, in addition to the development of nanoparticles that promote delivery of drugs through the skin.
