Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto da USP (HCMRP). Hemocentro de Ribeirão Preto  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Alfenas - MG. Masters and PhD in Basic and Applied Immunology at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (FMRP - USP). During my graduate studies (2018 - 2025), I investigated the contribution of keratinocytes and fibroblasts to the pathological inflammation-fibrosis axis in systemic sclerosis (SSc) patients undergoing autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Still during my PhD, funded by a grant from FAPESP, I developed in collaboration with the Radboud University Medical Center - Radboudumc (Nijmegen, the Netherlands), a 3D in vitro skin model to analyze the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in (myo)fibroblast activation and contraction driven by monocytes/macrophages. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher changes associated with the trained immunity response of SSc patients' fibroblasts. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
